Yesterday, state police arrested Jeb Daly in Huntington for the Disinterring/ Improper Disposal of his girlfriend’s body.

At noon yesterday, the Hampshire Detective Unit responded to what they believed to be a missing persons case at 8 Rocky Brook Drive, according to state trooper Geraldine Bresnahan’s police report. The report said that the long term couple, Jessica Dana and Jeb Daly, hosted a party at their residence Sunday evening. The couple had been drinking and bickered back and forth throughout the night, Bresnahan wrote.

Yesterday, police arrested two men after a significant seizure of drugs and firearms.

Gustavo Marrero, 20, and John Wayne Bartley, 24, both of Holyoke, are being held in custody on firearms charges and narcotics trafficking, according to a press conference given by Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni. At approximately 1:30 p.m. yesterday, police executed a search warrant at an apartment located within the building of 119 Nonotuck St., Gulluni said. This location became of greater interest after a homicide took place in the parking lot on Sept. 3, according to Gulluni. Roughly 20,165 individual bags of heroin, over 1 kg. of cocaine, 2 AR-15 Rifle, 3 handguns, 20 extended magazines, and $6,000 cash were seized by detectives, Gulluni said.
